Ingredients
- 1 cup of ground almonds
- 1 cup of pitted dates
- 2 tablespoons of agave nectar or honey
- ¼ of Nutiva hemp protein powder 2 tablespoons of raw organic cacao powder
- ¼ cup of Goji Berries
- ¼ cup of Nutiva Hemp seeds
- Optional: Nutiva coconut oil to help bind the mixture where necessary
Method
- In a food processor, combine the almonds and hemp protein powder
- Add the pitted dates
- Add the agave nectar, and blend until smooth
- Add the goji berries followed by the hemp seeds
- A smooth texture that can be easily shaped into bars should be obtained. If the mixture is not to your liking, add 1 tablespoon of melted Nutiva coconut oil and mix well before creating bars
- Tip: Put parchment paper on a tray and spread the mixture. Cut into roughly equal bars and allow it to set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
- Pack in an airtight container once ready
